Lovely place to stay

Liked: It was clean and the attached cafe was reasonably priced and great food. I liked the gym equipment and the filtered water. The view from the gym was lovely, when using the treadmill. Kids loved the pool.
Disliked: The view was of the carpark. The gym had a funny smell. The room was quite small, compared to what I had experienced in the past.

Disliked: just reduced my review from 8 to 6. They charged our credit card after checkout claiming that we used the water in the room which we didn't. Not a lot of money but appears to be in line with the deferred maintenance of the property. Don't like establishments that try to take advantage of me...

Extremely disappointing experince!

Disliked: I incurred a charge of $US 52 per night for parking in the spot market, as it is understood that leaving the vehicle is at the owner's risk, which is equivalent to the cost of valet parking. I was not made aware of these parking fees prior to my arrival or during my stay. The hotel appears to be reminiscent of the 1970s and 1980s, seemingly content to remain in that era.I don't think that $US 50 per night room upgrade has made any difference.
