Nice hotel

Liked: Good value, clean and comfortable room - friendly staff. Great breakfast
Disliked: Double bed was under the eaves and made a one persons access to and from the bed quite difficult

Excellent choice to experience Bavarian...

Liked: We enjoyed the location and style of the hotel. The parking garage was appreciated and totally needed, as no parking on the street was available. Highlight would be the staff and the restaurant. Yummy Bavarian specialties and flair!
Disliked: We didn’t like the sliding door on the toilet that is shared by the shower. It was difficult to maneuver and got water all over the place. Room was stuffy if we didn’t open the window, but the traffic was too loud at night to keep it open while we slept.

Better placed sister hotel in...

Liked: The pub downstairs was great - except it is closed Monday and Tuesday so we only got to experience it Sunday evening. Otherwise, there is not much around this hotel (restaurants, takeaway, supermarkets) to enable casual eating. Location was ok, but the other Hotel Platz in the old town is much better placed for tourists. We only came across that one when we went into the CBD. A relatively easy three stop trip on the bus into the old town.
Disliked: The room was not very spacious. It did not welcome you to spend any time in it. The bed was placed right up against the sloped ceiling/roofline leaving little movement/breathing space when the person on that side of the bed was sleeping. Very poor design when we had spent more for a bigger room supposedly.

Small quaint hotel

Liked: Very quaint. Sweet extras like cookies and wooden pens
Disliked: The light switches were confusing. Really my only concern was the room was very expensive but I assumed that was because it was Oktoberfest
