Good location for a weeklong...

Liked: Modern, clean, spacious units, great staff
Disliked: Swimming pool area small/tight Kids overlook the pool daily No working bathrooms in pool/beach level

In general it was good.

Liked: The cleaning personnel was not so good.Also there is a ongoing constructions besides the hotel, so it was very noisy at my room and at the pool because of this. The restroom was not operating at the pool, so we had to back to hotel room.
Disliked: Cleaning personnel, absent of cutting board and good knife. I rented suite with kitchenette, ongoing construction, noise.

Exceptional

Liked: This was my second time staying at this resort and they did not disappoint. Customer service was phenomenal and I will be returning very soon.

Nice, but too expensive for...

Liked: The rooms were spacious and everything we needed was there.
Disliked: The rooms were a bit worn out/ older then on the photo's. The lobby was cold and windy. The restaurant and bar were too cold to sit in.

Beautiful property with tons of...

Liked: Beautiful property. The room was perfect for our family of 5. Great beach and city views from the floor to ceiling windows. Dining area easily seated 5. Comfortable beds, very clean. Pool was heated and comfortably warm. Around the pool, games were set up daily...corn hole, chess etc. Comfortable pool chairs and nice Tiki lounge are by the pool. Great maintenance staff. We had several issues with or room during our stay... no water, oven did not work, broken door handles, TV that would not change channels, broken crisper drawers in refrigerator. Maintenance was courteous and fixed most issues promptly.
Disliked: We were not informed that the hotel was under maintenance. Pool restrooms were not available, You had to enter the pool from the garage. Front desk staff was less than welcoming or helpful. Fitness center aerobic area was closed during our stay. Despite 3 different attempts with the front desk asking when it would be available, I did not receive any response other than it was open when it was not. On my last request, I had to ask for someone to go with me so I could show them that the aerobic area was blocked off. They seemed surprised and said that they thought it might be being painted. Not sure why the staff was not informed. My wife received a call saying we will be taken care of due to lake of availability. Then again no response.We tried to rent 5 bikes to go on a family bike ride. Only 2 bikes were usable. The rest were broken or out of service so we could not go on a family bike ride. Even if all bikes were in working order you can only rent 2 bikes per mobile phone so if you have a family you of 5, you would need to have 3 phones to book the bikes. With the time it takes to on-line register the first bike is 10-15 minutes into your free hour rental. Only 2 of us were able to take advantage of the bike rental. It is terrible service and experience. We asked to concierge if they had any recommended bike routes. They did not. In fact where they told us to ride was very dangerous. Our experience was certainly not worth the $35 per person amenities fee.Kitchen... broken oven, poorly stocked...no baking pans. We asked for a baking pan twice and each and only received a casserole dish. Once the oven was fixed, we still had no way to cook in the oven and had to go out and buy baking sheets. Dishwasher did not clean dishes. We ended up re-washing by hand.Showers to rinse off by the beach and pool were broken,Poor staff training and lack of understanding of the English language was prevalent from the front desk to the valet service.

Pricey but nice!
