Liked: Location good. Very noisy plumbing if next door room was flushing or using water vibration from plumbing was very loud.
Disliked: Breakfast was next door but only a coffee and one yes just one pastries I chose a sandwich with cheese and meat and had to pay extra €2. After the waiter chased me down the street to pay..

I really enjoyed my stay...

Liked: The Marconi Inn was ideally situated for my trip to Northern Italy being equidistant between the train station and the city centre of Bologna. Francesco provided a friendly welcome and was just a phone call away if needed. The bed was super comfy and the shower was excellent. Lovely to have a fridge and kettle in the room.
Disliked: I would have liked access to water to refill my bottle each day. I do love to be as green a traveller as possible!

Disliked: Weird blinking lamp didn’t let us sleep. There was no way to turn it off.

Disliked: Thin walls so you could hear everyone especially in the hallway. They were doing some sort of construction which lead to us not sleeping through in the morning. Be aware that the breakfast is only a coffee and a pastry. Unfortunately I regret booking this hotel since it didn’t live up to the money used. We were lent an iron but it leaked out some rust on the bedding and clothes.
