Hotel Description
Overlooking the spectacular hills and valleys of South Gippsland the stunning Maple Ridge Cottages feature extensive gardens with mature trees and a large duck pond sheep and alpaca grazing below the cottages as well as free range chickens. There is free on-site parking close to the cottages. Guests can relax by the fireplace in their cottage prepare a BBQ in the large BBQ area or take in the sunset from their own outdoor deck. Each cottage has an outdoor setting and gorgeous views of the wildlife livestock and the rolling hills from indoors and outdoors! The air-conditioned self contained accommodations features either a full kitchen or a kitchenette (Acacia Cottage) all rooms offer a microwave coffee machine and a refrigerator. Complete with a double spa bath in Acacia & Calistemon Cottages and a deep claw foot bath overlooking the rolling hills in Hakea & Waratah Cottages all bathrooms feature complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer for your convenience. Just 15 minutes to the center of Leongatha 15 minutes to Mirboo North & 15 minutes to Meeniyan townships we are close enough that you can shop in any direction you're heading with lovely eateries and cafes as well as supermarkets in each town. Beyond these towns are some fantastic breweries and wineries as well as local produce such as cheese artisan bakeries local honey and other delicious products that you're bound to come across on your journey. There are so many gorgeous small towns to explore with local hotels the go to place for a nice meal. We are only located approx an hour long gorgeous drive to Wilsons Prom and not too far from Waratah Bay Squeaky Beach Wonthaggi & Inverloch if youre seeking the ocean. However if you are looking to stay close to 'home' then our property has a solar heated outdoor pool with outdoor seating where you can enjoy the finer weather or the WIFI is FAST & FREE if you wanted to watch a movie!

Serenity now

Liked: We had a lovely 3 nights at Maple Ridge and loved everything about it..the cottage was beautifully furnished, the view was to die for, bed was so comfortable with lovely linen, bathroom was great & there was not a sound to be heard .. serenity now!! Thank you 😁

Peaceful and relaxing

Liked: The cottage was self catering . The location was beautiful and surrounding gardens a credit to the owners. On site was a bbq area, fire pit surrounded by rustic seating, a heated pool and a beautiful lake.
Disliked: Shading over the top windows especially the ones facing west. On the very hot days the sunlight was very intense especially in the bedroom. Everything else was perfect and cosy.

Liked: Welcoming hosts, exceptionally clean, comfortable beds, unique location tucked in the South Gippsland hills, with views of the sheep and lambs. A great relaxing get away.

Liked: We’re from 🇱🇰 The place was incredible full of natural beauty with calmness. Perfect escape from busy lives. The staff were also very friendly and supportive. We really enjoyed our stay over here. Highly recommended.

Terrible Experience – Avoid This...

Disliked: We booked a 2-bedroom cottage, listed for 4 adults, for myself, my wife, and our 3 children (ages 6, 7, and 8). Despite agreeing to pay the extra $145 demanded for our children, the owner, Adrian, acted aggressively and unprofessionally. He accused us of dishonesty because we booked for 2 adults and spoke to my wife in front of our children in a disrespectful manner. Late at night, he forcibly evicted my wife and kids while I was away, causing my children to cry and leaving my wife in fear. Adrian’s behavior traumatized my children and caused lasting sad memories. His unprofessional behavior was completely unacceptable. I strongly advise against staying here.

Gorgeous cottage on a farm,...

Liked: Beautiful property and cottage on a farm. Very clean and gorgeous design interior and exterior of the cottage. Stunning views. Lots of friendly and cute animals. Very friendly hosts. Would stay here again and recommend it to my friends. Great place to stay for some serenity outside of the city.
