Uncomfortable Beds and Leaking Bathrooms
Liked: Close to the hospital
Disliked: The beds are very uncomfortable, as they consist of two singles pushed together. Just terrible. The bathroom shower leaks and water goes under the door onto the carpet. The Mini Bar was completely empty and barely running. Made no attempts to assist when requested.

Spacious and clean with some...
Liked: We booked 2 adjoining rooms which was very convenient as a couple travelling with adult daughter. The rooms were spacious and clean each with a kitchenette and large bathroom with shower. The beds were king sized and comfortable with crisp white bed linen. We brought our own light blanket as we find a doona to be too hot in summer. There was ample cupboard/clothes storage space. The airconditioning worked well and easy to set. The kitchenette was basic but was equipped with a pod coffee machine and kettle and a small fridge which was big enough for our needs. The location was opposite a hospital so it was a busy area but not a problem. It is a 10-15 min walk to the town centre.
Disliked: There was no breakfast being offered at the time of our stay which we were not informed about prior to our stay. There was no toaster in the kitchenette but there was a cooktop and a frypan which was odd. We ended up buying a $20 toaster from Kmart. The room was quite dark and there are no opening windows. There is no outdoor space at the hotel or a gym or a pool. Our rooms were noisy (level 1)from 7am when cleaning staff arrived as the cleaning storeroom and laundry were close by. The hairdryer only blew cold air I wrote a note for housekeeping but there was no acknowledgement. It had no heat settings so probably best to bring your own.

Disappointing. Weird hospital vibes and...
Liked: The breakfast was cooked to order and staff were friendly and room was clean. Laundry room was handy too.
Disliked: The blinds in the room, very poor. Western sun beamed in the room late to the evening and then early sunrise. Not good for families with young kids. Hotel needs to replace those terrible blinds with block out. No sleep ins here. Also the hotel has strong hospital feel /vibes. There was no mention on the website that the property was previously an old hospital. Depite the renovations still feels clinical and not very homely. This could be triggering and unsettling particularly if you have hospital trauma experience. Also location was a bit far from CBD.

Very short and shall not...
Liked: The breakfast was adequate. Limited choice and not great if you wanted something other than cooked breakfast
Disliked: The receptionist was not particularly helpful. I arrived late and very tied since I had been travelling since 4am. I checked web site which told me there was room service so drove from Devenport knowing I could get a snack when I arrived. The receptionist was very unhelpful gave me a list of Uber eats!!and since it was after 9pm thought I would have difficulty.
