Liked: A beautiful step back in time

Beauty, Warmth and Hospitality!

Liked: We were very well taken care of during our stay at The Mansion on Sutter. The place is absolutely beautiful, feeling like a museum in addition to being a hotel. The staff was incredibly attentive to our needs. We were celebrating a birthday and were delighted to receive an upgrade, which made our stay even more special.We also discovered a fantastic gourmet Italian deli right in front of the hotel, and the food there was excellent. All in all, this was an amazing experience, and I would absolutely return in the future—something I’m already planning to do.Thank you to the very kind and generous staff for making our visit so memorable!
Disliked: The breakfast could be a little better. It felt more like a 3-star breakfast. But they brought breakfast to our room suoer early the morning we left and that was very thoughtful.

Well priced for the quality...

Liked: We were upgraded for free since they had lots of availability. The house is absolutely stunning. I booked a room here on a whim because we walked past it and it looked so beautiful on the outside. I was so happy to discover it was a hotel!
Disliked: Parking is expensive but has to be done in San Fran
