Nice and quiet.

Liked: Very friendly staff, my room was very comfortable and a decent size. Pretty good value for money as the rate I paid included breakfast. The room had both a kettle and a pod style coffee machine, large screen TV and a very comfortable bed. All in all, a very pleasant stay. The hotel is on the outskirts of the town, perhaps a 15 minute walk from the center. It's in a fairly elevated position and is quite far away from the main road so it's in a pretty tranquil spot.One thing to note, the footpath up to the hotel is quite narrow and steep, it was also quite slippery in places due to leaves on the stairs but if this proves to be a problem, you could always walk up the driveway instead.
Disliked: I would have preferred the breakfast service to be available for longer than just an hour. Also, 0800 to 0900 is a bit early, especially on a Sunday morning, but to be entirely fair, the times are advertised so it's not like the serving time was a surprise to me. I didn't manage to get up in time for breakfast but the person I was traveling with did and they said it was excellent quality. So I missed out, but if you like getting up early, you'll probably really enjoy the breakfast.

Liked: Beautiful, traditional, Manor House style property. Suitably furnished throughout, and some fantastic architectural features, particularly ceilings. Spotlessly clean. Every member of the staff team were friendly, helpful, polite and professional. Great choices for breakfast.
Disliked: I couldn’t fault this hotel.
