Liked: I like the whole basement as my room. it was so comfortable. I liked the value. It was quiet when I.stayed there. If the people are noisy upstairs, it could have been an issue
Disliked: Hard to get my luggage to my room because it is just the stairs and no elevator but someone helped me carry it

Liked: I like the location, cozy room, nice view from our room (room 5). The staff is friendly, and thanks to the owner who was 100% a big help for being kind, understanding and thoughtful when there was a little problem with our room booking. Easy access when you enter the bldg. and everything you need is in the lobby. Self check-in/out is a good idea, no hassle.
Disliked: The bathroom is really small, but not a big deal. what I didn't like was the bed, they didn't change the comforter cover, when I turned it over there were a lot of stains on the linen, it was really dirty, the smell who used it before us was still there. . . We didn't complain coz the owner is nice and luckily I brought my own linen.

Highly recommended!

Liked: The location is absolutely perfect, only a few steps away from Dufferin terrace and we could see the Chateau Frontenac from our window. The room was large and beautiful and it takes you back in time.
Disliked: The bathroom was quite small.

Liked: The location was great, just a few steps from the boardwalk with Fairmont.
Disliked: I booked a king room and the description on Booking was that it will be on a high floor with city view. We ended up in the room number 3 which was one flight of stairs up with windows into a small and very dirty courtyard full of aiconditioning units. There was a window just just few meters from ours. The floors in the room were not cleaned properly. I would have never paid so much for a room like this in a hotel with very limited reception, so I am very disappointed and won't be back and also cannot recommend it.
