Great hotel with everything you...

Liked: It was perfectly situated on the edge of the old town with great views over the river and of the Minster. I’ve stayed in the Malmaison chain a number of times, though not recently, and the quality of the rooms, general hotel atmosphere, food and staff is still good. The bed was huge and comfortable and the shower was great. I would always pick this chain if I had the choice.
Disliked: My only niggle is that the towel radiator is tiny so you can’t fit 2 bath towels on it.

Liked: Not far from city centre. Couple of mins walk loads of restaurants and shops around it. Beautiful rooms.
Disliked: We like everything about it.we would definitely stay again

Liked: The location was excellent
Disliked: The room layout was awful. The toilet was a red box. The lighting was so dim a lady could not get ready for an evening without a torch. There was no ventilation and the heating control was awful and the room was so hot it was uncomfortable

Liked: Weekend away for my partners 21st, the best stay and experience. The restaurant was lovely and the room was stunning
Disliked: The chocolate strawberries weren’t worth the money however still lovely

Liked: We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but we had dinner in the restaurant on the ground floor, food was lovely and the service was very good.
Disliked: There was no tea, milk or sugar in the room. We asked for that to be rectified which it was. On the morning of our second day at about 9am housekeeping knocked on the door to ask to service the room. We said no as we weren't ready to go out but that we would be going out shortly. We left at 10am and were gone all day. When we got back to the room it hadn't been serviced at all. We had no clean towels and the bed wasn't made. I phoned reception and was told that they would get back to me. I never heard anything more. For a hotel of this quality, this is very poor.
