Comfortable stay in central Reading

Liked: Well located very close to station and major shops/restaurants/bars
Disliked: Room was a bit cramped and dark

Liked: Staff were great and the bar and restaurant were really good
Disliked: My room was very dark and it was quite difficult to read. Same in the bathroom making shaving and contact lense handling quite difficult. The staff did change bulbs for me which made a minor improvementI was surprised to find there is no printing service available for guests.Also it was a little on the expensive side for such a basic service

Liked: We liked the location and the look of the room was nice. Easy to get around. My partner came with me as I don’t like to travel solo even for work, for safety reasons.
Disliked: Even though we paid for an air conditioned room the air con wasn’t working even on high it wasn’t making the room cool. There’s no parking and we weren’t made aware that when we called the receptionist twice to inquire about certain concerns before booking. Also, we had to make a quick booking so didn’t think to check for parking ourselves on booking.com.
