Disliked: Waiting 2 hrs to check in £177.00 per night check in was supposed to be 3pm room wasn’t ready till after 5pm not worth the money won’t be staying again

Liked: Location of the hotel is excellent for access to the city and parking in the multi-storey car park opposite the hotel @ £6 per night was acceptable.
Disliked: The room required better cleaning with dust on the surfaces. After initially being told we had to wait until after 3pm to check in, we waited until 5pm to check in. There was insufficient check in staff in reception causing a queue. This was the same at breakfast where we had to wait 30 mins for our ordered hot food. When the food was received, it was not as advertised with items missing. I’m sure all these issues can be resolved but the hotel was extremely busy and fully booked. Maybe this should have been noted with rostering staff.
