Disliked: Only minor issues - found someone else’s cream behind the curtains on floor, the room wasn’t fully dark due to gap in curtains

Disliked: Check in staff of fish and sink didn’t drain in bathroom

Enjoyable stay for a pre-Christmas...

Liked: Enjoyed my cooked breakfasts on both days. Never rushed.
Disliked: The air con kept setting itself to low, and blowing out cold air. It was fixed one morning...lasted about 2 hours before doing it again. Also, should instruction for Nespresso machine.

Liked: Lovely room , very comfy bed . Nice and quiet even though we were right near the stairs from the bar . Staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming .
Disliked: Slightly disappointed that the atmosphere in the bar was spoilt by a small group of very rowdy gentleman using extremely offensive language. Whilst I appreciate the Manchester Derby was taking place and therefore tensions were running high , this was before the match. There were families present and I maybe old fashioned but I feel that at the very least they should have been asked to consider others in the vicinity and perhaps ‘lower the volume’ . Nevertheless a very enjoyable stay and I would certainly stay here again.

Liked: Location of hotel was great.
Disliked: Standard room was ok, very small but fine for 1 night. Was a bit shabby in places.Had a few drinks in the bar before we headed out, miserable bar staff, seemed an effort to smile.
