Nice but not much rest
Liked: Good Location, Clean and Tidy
Disliked: Walls paper thin, had to ring reception multiple times to complain about another guests music banging through the walls until 6am

Disappointing
Liked: Staff were all very professional & helpful.
Disliked: The rooom was apparently an upgrade - my mother was charged for an upgrade - but the shower leaked and flooded the bathroom, the bathroom door was damaged and the bath side panel was coming off. In very bad shape for a basic room, never mind an upgraded one.

Average. Over priced.
Liked: Decorated nice, different and modern
Disliked: The hearing didn’t work in our room. We were out for the night and when we came back we thought we had put it on, but was told in the morning that we have to put the key in the slot to make it work (even though everything else worked without doing so)Shower door also wouldn’t shut so water ended up all over the bathroom floor.Wouldn’t have minded of the above but we paid over £300 for the room for one night (no breakfast) Gym is also minimal.

Good hotel but let down...
Liked: The hotel was great, reception staff great, bar staff excellent, but we feel let down by the staff in the Spa who offered an appointment but failed to inform us in good time that it was no longer availabe.
Disliked: We decided to stay after my wife booked in for a Spa treatment. This was arranged via e-mail (they didn't answer the phone), turns out in the 2 minutes between them e-mailing to offer an 11am appointment and my wife replying to accept that offer, they gave the appointment to someone else but didn't tell my wife till the next morning.If they had informed her as soon as they knew the appointment was taken then we would have either not stayed over in Manchester or would have opened our hotel search to hotels without Spa facilities.If we could have booked the Spa online we would have recieved a confirmation of some kind.

Good
Liked: Nice room, lovely touch having bath salts as well as other toiletries. Great central location.
Disliked: Breakfast was OK, but not as good as some other places that charge less.
