Well located hotel with attractive...

Liked: Pleasant and quiet room. Great shower and bathroom better than many. Good view of river Mersey from bedroom. Room size was good. Well done Malmaison.Location close to river and close to the cruise terminal and the docks so convenient for many leisure activities and tourist bus routes.Breakfast - attractive selection on the buffet. Staff friendly and helpful - an asset to the hotel.
Disliked: Different chefs for breakfast. First day lovely thick porridge; second day substandard but rectified quickly.Beware those who do not like garlic as menu options limited for dinner. But the chicken option was tasty and well presented. Found the room key finicky in lift to gain access to floor.

Liked: I booked flowers, petals and balloons for a special occasion. The flowers were beautiful and reasonably priced. They upgraded the room for me free of charge and kept it 'secret' as i asked. Friendly, professional, amazing. Couldn't ask for better, and will re-visit.
