Internal décor in need of...

Liked: Good service from staff and very clean place.
Disliked: The general decoration of the hotel including wall colours and lighting are a bit depressing. Dark walls, low dimmed lights are off-putting.

All in all good but...

Liked: Great breakfast and location
Disliked: The lighting in bedroom is very poor. Wardrobe in particular needs interior lighting. The little desk has a mirror over it but too dark to see anything Shower temperature difficult to control Very little storage. We were only there for.3 nights so it was ok . Coat hooks would be good & some hooks in bathroom tooDressing gowns lacking Pumps for hair & body wash very hard to use.

Excellent, comfortable stay.

Liked: It was very central and very reasonable with the price especially for one night. At first I was a little conscerned it was in the basement but actually was completely fine. The room was very spacious, clean and exactly what I expected, malmaison as a group is very consistent and it’s very comforting to know we can trust this as a brand. Thank you for the excellent stay

Reasonably priced hotel in great...

Liked: Perfect location for shops, transport and bars.Staff were very friendly.
Disliked: Had a coffees in the bar and they were only luke warm.The lift system is confusing (even for one member of staff who tried to take us between rooms).
