Liked: Comfortable bed and good sized room.
Disliked: The bar was quite chilly and the menus were very difficult to read because of small print.

Disappointed and let down by...

Liked: Room was clean, breakfast was good when it arrived.
Disliked: There was broken shower the pipes were loud and there was issue was loud continuous noise of water running from the shower causing us to have little sleep. Breakfast wasn’t brought up or the menu collect so we had to call and cause this up. When speak to the manager In the morning they offer apologies and another nights stay and dinner. This was near delivered and emails and calls ignore. Even though videos were sent of the issue. Very disappointing and poor customer service

Great for business or leisure.

Liked: A great welcome by the staff. The room was very spacious, clean, and had everything I needed for a business trip. Despite the bad weather and the scaffolding around the outside this was a perfect venue.
Disliked: Pints are not used in the bar you can only get 300ml glasses.

Disliked: I was standing in reception when a young man who is in the social care system admitted that the hotel is used to house people. I am partially blind and wear a luminous landlord saying ‘sight impaired’. I also told staff I was partially blind. I was due to check out in time for a 7:15 taxi to the coach station and tried to orebook a Continental breakfast to take away like at every hotel I stay at. As I was leaving at 7:15 I made my way down early and found it near impossible to have a Continental breakfast prepared for me to go. The actual restaurant was due to open to the public at 7 so why couldn’t the prep staff organise a take away breakfast for me before 7:15? At other hotels I have had it delivered to my room even before the restaurant opens to the public and in some cases to be prepared in a take away bag for me to collect swiftly and without issue. I asked for it the night before and found reception staff very unhelpful. I asked for help at reception prior to 7:15 am and got no help. I was sent down to the restaurant to talk to the staff there but found nobody around. I made my way back up two floors to reception to ask for help. All they did was look at cctv and say ‘they are there, hurry’. I struggled to get back to the restaurant and had to shout and call once I got back to the restaurant as no staff were around again. It was now after 7am. All I got was grumpy unhelpful staff who gave me two croissants to take away. When I got in my taxi I discovered they were both stale
