Liked: Comfortable bed and good sized room.
Disliked: The bar was quite chilly and the menus were very difficult to read because of small print.

Very disappointing. Does not deliver...

Liked: Very disappointing experience given the promise of a lovely room on the listing. A cramped and airless room with the window giving onto a filthy internal well with a very noisy extractor rumbling away all night right by the window. Like being on a ferry. The receptionist said he had no idea what the noise was when we asked about it, offered to move us but we were already in bed as we’d checked in at 10pm after driving from London. This room is not fit for guests … unless it is the very last and only one available. Common areas were unclean and place generally in need of some TLC. Very poor service from the night staff who could easily have checked us into a decent room without the hotel having to receive this damning review. Don’t stay here.

Liked: The location was fab but the hotel is tired and a let down as was ment to be a luxury treat

Liked: Decor, quietness of hotel, closeness to all local amenities, staff friendliness.
Disliked: The bed was noisy - when simply sitting on it, turning over at night, etc, it made excessive noise.

Liked: Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfasts - a wide choice of freshly cooked dishes. Drinks voucher for the three night stay
Disliked: No sign of the daily room cleaning that was promised (with the drinks voucher)
