Fabulous hotel, spa and gardens...
Liked: Beautiful country house and gardens, with a lovely peaceful spa on site, with excellent pool, steam, sauna and outdoor hot tub. It was bliss sitting out there on a cold day in the warmth. Very comfortable rooms. All of the staff were amazing - so warm, friendly and chatty and provided excellent service. Freshly cooked breakfasts were of the highest quality. Best hotel experience of 2024.
Disliked: Nothing. I had four wonderful days here. Highly recommend.

Very good
Liked: Almost everything went very well, especially the spa facials I and my daughter had which were worth the price. I had a very comfortable room and bed, equipped with everything I could need including fresh milk in the fridge - a nice touch. Service was always friendly and helpful
Disliked: I resent the huge profits you make on very ordinary glasses of wine or fortified wine. For example , a bottle of La Gitana Manzanilla sherry costs £10,50 from the renowned wine merchants 'Tanners'. (You may well pay less.)You offer this at £7 for a 70 centilitre glass. so you would get 10 glasses out of a bottle, which means that you are making £55 or more a bottle. I didn't order this, not least because dry sherry should be drunk as the Spanish do - finishing an opened bottle within a week. Out odinterest I also tried the Warwick Pinot Noir - again at a very high price per glass and it was poor. Tart and slightly sour - maybe too far North for the grapes to fully ripen? I wouldn't have it on your wine list. The Bacchus maybe, which I didn't try. There are much better French and German Pinot Noir's at reasonable prices.
