Liked: The breakfast was superb. There was huge choice and nothing was too much trouble. The quality of the food couldn't be bettered.The very large room was always warm and comfortable. The beds were the biggest I have seen.The B&B was very close to the main entrance to Fountains Abbey. (But note it is closed on Fridays in Winter).
Disliked: The entrance was a sharp turn from the road and easy to miss at first.

Liked: Beautiful rooms in idyllic setting. Great attention to detail and wonderful breakfasts. Maggie is extremely warm and welcoming and a great source of advice on the local area. Highly recommend.
Disliked: Nothing. Everything was beyond expectation.

Liked: a peaceful haven just outside Ripon, Our room was in a converted 18th century smithy, beautiful shower room, extra large comfortable bed, windows look out onto open countryside, breakfast was served across the courtyard in the main farmhouse, good selection on the menu, full Yorkshire was exceptional, beautifully cooked and very pleasant lady servingand looking after you.
Disliked: Nothing

Delightful country retreat.

Liked: Delicious Breakfast - soft cotton bedding, superking bed and comfy mattress, spacious bedroom with armchairs and all accessories for our comfort. Bathroom well equipped and walk in shower perfect - obliging friendly hosts and staff.
Disliked: Nothing at all. It was perfect - better quality than many hotels where we have stayed.

Liked: The friendliest host I've ever seen. Exceptional cats in the yard who enjoy a good fuss being made of them. Large room
Disliked: WiFi was a little slow, but is being resolved this week.
