1/2 Star Motel…

Disliked: The entire complex is very run down. Advertised as 4 star in 2011, it would not make 1 star now. The unit was dirty with stained carpets, black mould around the base of the shower, the shower mat was badly frayed. Cupboard doors with no handles jammed closed, draws missing. No plu in the sink, toaster did not work ( they were replaced when the office notified) Sliding doors had no bottom gliders, the master bedroom the door was too small for the door frame. The extractor fan for the oven had a cord dangling with no socket to plug it into. The single beds were supported on lenghts of 4 x 2 timber. Curtains too short for the window. Windows could not be opened, the hsndle in the master bedroom was broken…. Ohhh and found the smoke alarm in cupboard with out a battery

Loved it, I would definitely...

Liked: Loved the beds, they were SUPER comfy. The spa was the perfect temperature & nice and private. The rooms were clean and smelled great

Liked: Service and communication pre-arrival very good. Good location. Bed was comfortable. Great to park outside unit.
Disliked: Only one pillow each on the bed (pillowslip was same material as duvet cover which was a bit weird). I prefer pillowslip to be same as sheets. Towels were old (not good enough for motel), no rubbish bin (only small open one in the bathroom), lampshade above bed missing bulb, shower had sprung a leak in the hose, shower filled up with water possibly due to drain clogged up, no lid on toilet seat, moldy blind in bathroom, cheap kettle which took to boiling by itself randomly, plug to heater exposed some wiring, pool area - not operational - no water in pool. Staff member knocked on door twice before 10am and before I had a chance to get up and open it, she went ahead and unlocked it anyway. She didn't speak English so wasn't interested when I told her about a few things that needed fixing. Another staff member did confirm later that motel used during covid for social housing but they don't do that now. We expected better even for the reasonable rate we paid. Suggest modernise and spruce up or sell to a developer who will pull it down.

Disliked: I regret to say that my stay at this motel was extremely disappointing. The experience was marred by numerous issues that made the stay unpleasant. The stove was non-functional, and basic amenities such as soap and a toilet seat were missing. The furniture appeared as if it had been sourced from a junkyard, adding to the overall shabby impression.The level of cleanliness was unacceptable, with dirt and grime present throughout the room. Two of the lamps were missing lightbulbs, and the water in the kitchenette did not heat up. To make matters worse, the shower drain was clogged, causing water to accumulate. Several electrical outlets were only partially operational, and the kettle had a faulty connection, making it difficult to use.The bed was uncomfortably hard, contributing to restless nights, and street noise added to the disturbances. Overall, the conditions were appalling, and I found the experience to be truly unpleasant and unworthy of recommendation.

Disliked: The place was not clean from floors, carpets, cooktops, table. The doors to the bathroom and bedrooms were broken and dis not close and had gaps so anyone could see you in the bedroom and sitting on the toilet. The pots in the kitchen the were dirty and rusty. The cupboard draw was missing. The windows did not close fully. The shower was not fit for use. There were 4 of us and only 2 face towels and 3 bath towels and half those towels were dirty. There was no hand towel. When I messaged to complain I had no response. When I messaged to the next day to say we were checking out hours later I got a message saying thanks. Everything was awful. This facility is not suitable for travellers and should be removed.

Disliked: Shower leaked. Stained carpet. Some power points not working. Cupboard doors misaligned.
