Liked: Great location close to town. Swimming pool was warm
Disliked: First sms text message “welcome” gave us key code for lockbox and an apparent welcome which seemed mostly focused on you have to take your rubbish with you when you leave. At $300 a night it would’ve been more pleasant to just have a welcome message with key code (we generally take out the rubbish anyway ). When we arrived at the room there was only herbal teas so I messaged to asked if there was a black tea only to be told it was relaxing tea only. So no tea or milk (after buying some tea). Room was spacious. Ironing board was broken, shower you run around to get wet, and no glass to put toothbrush in for the bathroom. Bathroom vent was full. Pool area not cleaned during the entire time that we visited. Fridge blocked with ice. Only saviour was the amazing friendly service from the lovely lady who was the housekeeper- she was super friendly to us which made it all feel a little bit better

Liked: Maleny Lodge is excellent for its central location, beautifully appointed rooms, and the charming blend of historic character with modern comforts.

Disliked: Can’t say the place has a fault, other than I struggled to locate the rubbish bin !

Liked: Comfortable bed, nice pool and in town.
Disliked: We didn’t like the fact that we were given a room with the bed on one level and the bathroom below. There was not mentioned of stairs in the description or confirmation. Nothing in the room photos. I just had a knee operation and I wasn’t impressed with the stair surprise!

Liked: Stunning property in Maleny! The bedroom and bathroom was spotless and super cosy. The swimming pool was also very nice and quiet! Wished we stayed for an extra night!
Disliked: It would be great if they can give access to the kitchen in the main house if it is not occupied.

Liked: Beautiful property with lovely finishes and a very comfy bed.
Disliked: We stayed in the Ada room which didn’t have a cupboard to hang your clothes. The bathroom door also didn’t latch which wasn’t a big problem for me and my partner but some privacy would be good.

A pleasant break away.

Liked: The room was comfortable
Disliked: Unfortunately the iPad left in our roo for communication wasn’t charged and charger provided didn’t work . This meant that it wasn’t till next day, after I charged iPad with my own charger thatwe had access to internet password or could read information package. So we didn’t realise till later that day we needed to ask for room to be serviced. It is nice to walk into serviced room after a day sight seeing.So therefore we felt the place was overpriced.
