Liked: I did not like that we had to park off site. The walk with luggage wasn’t ideal tagging along 3 kids.I enjoyed the amenities such as the pool, sauna… the steam room wasn’t working properly.Very comfortable beds and the staff were very nice.

Liked: The staff were so friendly and helpful, and breakfast was excellent. Location was also excellent.
Disliked: Our room was a bit noisy but not sure what they can do about that as it was noise from the binmen in the street!

A tired hotel in need...

Liked: The Hotel is perfectly placed to walk into the centre of Cork.
Disliked: Its not a 4 star Hotel or even close to one. I'm not saying that to be cruel or unkind, its just a fact. Ive stayed in a lot of Hotels over the years and this is one id rate as a middle of the road 2 star. After we checked in my first clue was the lift. It was slow, old and smelly. When we got out on the third floor the carpet was worn and dusty looking. It wasn't dirty necessarily, it was just worn out. Maybe 30 years old from the look of it. In the room it got worse. It was down at heel everywhere i looked. The carpet is old, the toilet door had no lock and had to be slammed shut to get it to close. The bath was stained brown and the base was cracked. The toilet didn't flush first time it had to be repeatedly flushed to get it to work The radiator was missing a knob, the sink was old and worn out. The shower was part of the bath and didn't drain well. A four minute shower had the water up past my ankles. The bath tiles were black from mold and it was just......... well i couldn't wait to get out of the bathroom!We ate in the bar on our second night. Two Children's meals of mashed potato's, gravy and two sausages each, a curry and a fish and chips. Two pints and a glass of wine. 90 euros. Outrageous! Id have understood if the meal was top quality but it wasn't. The Sausages were cheap, the fish seemed to be cheap frozen fish and the chips were cheap processed chips. It all came out tepid too. Just depressing.

Liked: Maria was amazing and all of the staff were so helpful. The location is brilliant. I would definitely stay there again. Only downside is there was only one tv channel.
