Liked: Location suited our purpose
Disliked: 1. The bathroom was dirty and the shower head was leaking-not something one would expect for a 4* hotel2. The breakfast buffet was disappointing in that there seemed to be a lot of items on the menu that weren’t provided (for instance there were cards calling out fried eggs etc on display but the items weren’t available), the fruit salad didn’t seem fresh- again not something I would expect in a 4*!

The hotel is just bearable

Liked: The location is ok, but the hotel rooms themselves are impractical.The bathroom has no proper ventilation, no towel racks by the sink, no cotton pads for removing make-up or ear pads, not to mention a shower cap. No slippers or bathrobes, which is rather embarrassing in a 4* hotel.The bath mat recommended for use by the hotel is cream-coloured, which means it has not been replaced in ages, I dread to think what lives in it.The coffee in sachets is disgusting and tasteless, poorest quality !The room has a scandalously low light, no ceiling light, which makes the room depressing in the rainy Irish weather.The staff is friendly and the location is nice.
