Liked: Bright cheerful reception area with friendly and helpful staff. Umbrellas, newspapers and maps. Room felt spacious and clean. Excellent shower.
Disliked: Lighting not great for applying makeup. TV remote didn’t work very well.

Liked: Good location - it's in a nicer part of city centre, lots of nice eateries
Disliked: First room we checked into was only half-cleaned and we found the bathroom (specifically toilet) in a fairly gross state. The staff changed our room right away, but the new room also had issues we later found - little hairs all over the bed linen, the carpet hadn't been properly vacuumed and had odd debris/hair (the hotel doesn't provide slippers). Only stayed a night so I didn't raise again. Overall I can't agree with the 4-star rating, I would say more of 2 stars or 3 (at a stretch). Hygienically it was pretty appalling and overall the hotel amenities feel cheaply-made, and the pricing is commensurate of that. Staff were helpful but I don't know if I would rush to stay here again.

Comfortable, run-of-the-mill, chain-style hotel

Liked: Perfectly comfortable, run-of-the-mill hotel. No real character or charm, but nothing I could possibly complain about. If all you want is a city-centre hotel chain – a base to sleep, wash and have breakfast – then this is exactly that.
