Great location, clean and friendly...
Liked: The location was perfect for our stay
Disliked: It wasn’t a major issue but the room was a little small. (If I was being picky)

Great location with easy transport...
Liked: Great location. Very close to Tube Station and various food places around. Chaiiwala next door was absolutely delicious and you get 15% discount too.
Disliked: No iron in the room, not even available from reception as only 5 are available and other guest helped themselves to it and did not return. It really was a problem to not be able to iron our clothing. Another issue with hot water. Had to ask twice to turn it on. Also no heating in our room, made for a very cold couple of evenings.

Liked: Room was well appointed and bed comfortable.Chaiwala cafe adjoined to hotel did great food and chai.
Disliked: Room had no window and was at the end of an endless corridor. Was woken by the stench of someone smoking in a neighbouring (non smoking) room. There were chicken bones left on the stairwell carpet.

Near to tube stations, buses...
Liked: The location is near to tube station and buses, literally a 5 min walk. There's loads of shops nearby a Tesco across the rd.... a nice pub too...and a tasty Indian street food spot next door that gives hotel guests 15% off their meals. The staff seemed friendly enough. There's a lift for those who need it.
Disliked: The area seemed a bit run down and rough. The hotel carpet wasn't very clean and the rooms need a revamp, our first room smelt of damp and had no window, also the toilet seat was snapped off... after complaining to the receptionist we were immediately offered another room which was slightly better. But that rooms carpet was also dirty. The table had burn marks all over it.... the walls were grubby and could do with a bit of paint... if you had the shower on... the toilet wouldn't flush and we only had one pillow each in bed.

Disliked: When I checked in at the hotel, a friendly staff member at the front desk offered to help me with my heavy bags. I inquired about extending my stay since I had a work meeting scheduled from 11 AM to 12 PM. He assured me that it would be arranged and that it wouldn’t be a problem. I double-checked this because the meeting was very important to me, but he insisted that everything was fine and mentioned he would be working in the morning.Later that night, after checking in, I noticed that the toilet in my room wasn’t functioning properly, and there was a strong odor of smoke. I went downstairs to speak with the receptionist. He came to my room to address the issue and confirmed both the toilet's malfunction and the unpleasant smell of cigarettes. He offered to change my room, but since I had checked in so late and wanted to rest after a long day of work, I decided to stay. However, I expressed that it was unacceptable to receive a room in such poor condition, and I mentioned that I would keep my trainers on in the room. It was kind of him to offer a different room, and he was very friendly throughout our conversation.The next morning, I started working early from the hotel room via Teams. Room service knocked on my door at 10:30 AM, asking about cleaning my room, despite being told I wouldn’t be interrupted, especially since I mentioned I had important meetings running until noon. Another aggressive knock came at 11:15 AM, forcing me to pause my meeting to answer the door. When I opened it, a rude woman asked why I hadn’t checked out, noting that check-out at the hotel was supposed to be at 11 AM. I explained that during check-in, I informed the front desk staff about my meetings, and he assured me it would be fine for me to remain in the room until noon. I reiterated that I was currently in a very important meeting and could not discuss this further. She continued to ask what the man in the morning had looked like.

Disappointed
Liked: Very friendly staff - helped when dealing with the significant problem with my room at 4:50am.
Disliked: I was awoken at 4:50 am by water coming through the ceiling. I had to vacate the room and was transferred to a smaller room. No discount or apology was offered for this unpleasant experience .
