I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! Not only is it literally in the heart of everything New Orleans, but the people whom work there make it worth the money and stay!

Rivals luxury European hotels.
Liked: Literally EVERYTHING! This the best hotel I have stayed at within the United States. Our room, the facilities and staff were PERFECT! There were so many wonderfully unexpected perks to make the stay even more special. If you are looking for something exclusive… this is it. Mason Metier is a destination in itself. We can’t wait to come back.
Disliked: The water pressure for the shower was very low at times & we had to keep fixing the toilet float. I’m not sure what the staff could have done about the shower pressure, but i know if we had called down about the toilet they would have fixed it or given us a different room… they were amazing.

Liked: Lovely room, lovely staff. The bar food and the breakfast restaurant were delicious and very kind.
Disliked: It would be great if there was a tiny business center or even a computer for guests to use for an hour. Also a hotel shuttle to the French quarter even twice a day

Liked: Amazing interior design and fit out. A real boutique hotel.
Disliked: I am aware that the US hospitality is somewhat different from what you get in Asia and somewhat in Europe. But with the high profile and all the efforts put in to the decoration of the hotel. Some training of the personnel would be welcomed. It was really awkward in the dialogue and you felt more that you checked into a hostel or Airbnb than a fashionable boutique hotel. No finesse what so ever. Breakfast was nicely presented. But when I pay 135 USD for two, it should be possible to get a cappuccino. And yes, I would have paid for it. We were there during low season, not sure if that could be an explanation. But one could argue that it should be the other way around. If the hotel is full, what would be the service level then?

Liked: Breakfast was excellent. Room and staff were great. I won't return as reservation manger didn't accommodate a change I was requesting.
Disliked: I'm a repeat customer & i was surprised and disappointed the Reservations manager would not accommodate a change to our date of stay.
