I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! Not only is it literally in the heart of everything New Orleans, but the people whom work there make it worth the money and stay!

Not worth the money

Liked: It’s a pretty hotel.
Disliked: They stole from me. It’s a beautiful hotel but they stole from me. After paying for the hotel accommodation online before coming in, I was told they charge a one-time incidental fee based on home many nights you stayed. I stayed for 3 nights only. My incidental fee was $300.00. they overcharged me $1,390.36. They told me that I used part of the minibar which I payed for from the $300 incidentals. Mind you breakfast is never free. After Austin explained all to me. He told me I would be given a refund credit of $666.52 cents back after 7-10 business days and if it didn’t happen, I should let them know. Well it’s been almost 6 weeks and I haven’t gotten my money back. This was a birthday trip. Normally I don’t do minibars I only drank 2 bottles of wine from the mini bar and one bitters. My sister had one snack that would normally cost $1.50. One of the wine bottles was a very small bottle. That’s what these people charged me $1, 390.36 cents event after paying for all breakfast separate with my card away from an my incidental fee. Secondly, I never dream of snakes or one to be ever scared of snakes. But since I stayed in that hotel, I’ve had several dreams of snakes. I can definitely say that something spiritual is not right with that hotel. I gave them enough time to send me back my money. They haven’t. At this point, now I have no choice but to report the transaction as fraud to my bank.

Liked: It's really a beautiful property, the staff are wonderful and we spent a lot of time just admiring the design details. Bar Metier is especially lovely.
