Would be perfect, if..

Liked: Hotel in the beautiful, monumental Kammerzell House, one of the most famous and ornate buildings of Strasbourg, situated right on Place de la Cathédrale. Location, staff, building - it couldn't be better, but..
Disliked: The place is basically a large (good!) brasserie style restaurant, with a few hotel rooms as a fringe activity. Hotel rooms once were stylishly furnished and decorated but have not been looked after much since. Carpet (worn and stained), chairs (worn cushions) and bathroom fittings (moldy grouts, dysfunctional sink plugs) do need attention. It wouldn't take much effort or budget to remedy the situation - pity that so far it hasn't been done!

Liked: This hotel certainly exceeded our expectations. Perfectly located minutes from any and every major sight to see with plenty of things in between.

Super stay in Strasbourg

Liked: The food is OUTSTANDING and the location superb!
Disliked: The room was a bit small but that’s ok

Pleasent and comfortable.

Liked: A nice location right next to the cathedral, although be prepared for the bells to ring early in the morning.
Disliked: A bit confusing checking in as check in is in the restaurant itself. The room was large, but the shower/tub was a bit dated and grimy. Breakfast was a baguette and croissant , both were absolutely delicious, but not really a complete meal.

Loved Strasbourg but wouldn’t stay...
