A very uncomfortable experience.

Liked: The property overlooks a river. You might have a better experience than we had if you book a room overlooking it and don’t get stuck in room 3, a prison cell with sloping eaves making it impossible to sit up in bed or walk around the room without bumping your head.
Disliked: The room (3) has sloping eaves, so if you are over five feet you will have a hard time maneuvering. If you try to put your belongings on top of any furniture, you will bang your head on the eves. The room has only one small window with a big chair blocking it and only one bedside lamp, but you’d have to read lying down because of the sloping eve over the bed. The motel offers NO coffee—be warned. And no one on duty to complain to. The bathroom floor was dirty and previous visitors’ hair covered it. Motel exterior signage was very poor. There was a large sign saying main entrance, but both doors were locked and no sign of anyone. We messaged the property but did not receive reply. Later we walked around the house and found another building with a small sign saying reception. Receptionist was very busy taking care of folks at the marina in back, so we had to wait some more—after a hot six hour day of bike riding.

100% recommend if you’re traveling...

Liked: I am so happy we stayed here on our trip. They accommodated our late check-in and were very communicative. The room was clean, comfortable and worth the price. The back patio was beautiful and the entire property is relaxing and peaceful!

Disliked: We are grateful for the breakfast coupons but just a heads up that the restaurant is 1 km up a HUGE hill to walk to and while we had the coupons, we still had to pay tip, tax and whatever extra that wasnt covered.

Amazing location in Alma!

Liked: Place was spotless. A nice mix of private and shared amenities. Located at a beautiful marina; the view was spectacular from the deck.
Disliked: Nothing. Everything was excellent/exceptional.
