Liked: We stayed in the deluxe River view room and it exceeded our expectations. The bed was very comfortable, linens were superior and the views were exceptional. The breakfast selections were impressive and the dining room had old world charm with all of the contemporary necessities. The staff were always present and helpful.

SO ROMANTIC ....

Liked: Our stay at Maison Bleue was nothing short of exceptional. We visited to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and the experience was as bespoke as it was luxurious – everything felt tailored to perfection.The suite was beautifully designed, combining elegance with comfort in a way that instantly made us feel at home. The view of the river from our room was stunning, especially at sunset, where the colors painted the sky in a way that felt almost otherworldly.The bed was so huge and divine ,spacious and unbelievably comfortable and offering one of the best nights of sleep we’ve had in a long time.Breakfast, however, was a feast to remember. Greeted by the warmest staff member, who made us feel like old friends, we were treated to a breakfast spread that was as fresh as it was flavorful. The attention to detail was clear, from the perfectly baked pastries to the most incredible yellow eggs , a standout moment for me.The staff throughout our stay were attentive and genuinely passionate about creating a memorable experience for their guests, which made all the difference.Maison Bleue effortlessly combines bespoke charm with authentic character . It’s a place I would recommend in a heartbeat, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. A huge thank you to the team for making this celebration truly unforgettable!

Wish we could stay longer

Liked: Amazing renovated mansion with a fantastic view of the Douro River. Everything is very well decorated and the art collection is amazing. Our room was amazing, so confy and bright. Having a delicious breakfast with the view of the river next to us was the best way to start the day!
Disliked: TV sound system was a bit poor, it would be nice to put some nice music with good sound quality for a glass of wine🍷
