Disliked: It was my second time at Maison Astor, this time my room ( 512 ) ( the same category as the first time wasn’t nice. Has a long corredor hall but the room itself was quite small! The room was too cold! The AC works only for cold and apparently heating season only starts in November!

Liked: The staff was exceptionally helpful, especially Stephan the Concierge. He provided us with excellent suggestions and purchased tickets for us. The doormen were also extremely attentive, always there to assist.
Disliked: The rooms and bathrooms were much too small, even by Parisian standards. The public spaces in the hotel were also very small. The restaurant was closed for dinner, requiring us to take dinner in the bar, which was tiny.

Bad interior design.

Liked: Has a certain class, quiet, small and feel very private. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Received a complimentary bottle of Champagne in a room which was a nice gesture.
Disliked: The lighting designed so badly in the bathroom that it was impossible to apply make-up!! The expanding mirror which was attached on the wall was not flexible enough to serve anything. Bad bad bad, I am almost angry about it. I stayed in a hotel 1/2 of the price and bathroom had flexible mirror which stretched well to see my back of hair style. This is a terribly important for woman traveler. This hotel gas no such consideration.
