Excellent Stay, very reasonable for...

Liked: Good Food diversity and quality.
Disliked: More TV channels in English

Characterful hotel in good area

Liked: Booked 5 rooms for a family reunion weekend. Rooms were quiet although seemed to vary in size. Helpful staff on Reception and at breakfast, excellent concierge team. Pleasant bar area too. Breakfast was buffet with very good selection in charming room with glass ceiling. Not far from metro station. Plenty of shops nearby and in a nice area. Would definitely recommend.
Disliked: Small lift! Billing issue on check out (but that was sorted out). One couple moved rooms as had requested with a bath but were given one without (that was sorted out too).

Very nice hotel, friendly and...

Not worth the money

Liked: Clean, close to metro. 30 min walk to Musee D'Orsay and Louvre.
Disliked: The hotel is on a quiet street and although convenient location, not very exciting. The room is dark with inconvenient lighting, there was no outlet next to bed or in the bathroom. The water from the shower leaks on the floor. Not worth the money.

Take a blanket with you!

Disliked: It was my second time at Maison Astor, this time my room ( 512 ) ( the same category as the first time wasn’t nice. Has a long corredor hall but the room itself was quite small! The room was too cold! The AC works only for cold and apparently heating season only starts in November!
