A very bad stay

Liked: The location was good for our purposes. The staff were generally pleasant and helpful but turned a bit cold when we checked out early.
Disliked: I looked on the website of this property and the reviews were generally favorable. I wonder if they were real. Our experience was very bad - in all my travels of 45 years, this was the second worst lodging I encountered.Here are SOME of the things that we experienced:1. Door to room had poor fit - had to push hard to get it open (sometimes with shoulder)2. Toilet overflowed, took several workers quite a bit of time to fix it and I'm not sure they really did3. A well-placed kitchen outlet didn't work4. Stove oven didn't work - had to throw away the pizza we were planning for supper5. When pulling plug out of outlet on desk, the receptacle box came with it6. The radio was malfunctioning7. After two days of discomfort, we decided to leave early - only to find that the elevator was "under maintenance." When asking about when it would be repaired, the workers had no idea. It was contracted to an outside firm that wasn't answering its phone. So, I had to take our luggage down the stairs from the second floor and assist my disabled wife down. I was so glad to leave this property for a comfortable stay elsewhere.
