Budget accommodation, but price was...

Liked: Location to VA hospital was ok. The room was clean. Appreciated the coffee maker and coffee.
Disliked: Parking was scarce, very dark for solo travel. Elevator was not working. Not easy to drag suitcase up 3 floors. Hall very dingey, made property look like nursing home. Furnishings also very institutional. Served the purpose, but marginally.

Liked: The room was really nice and clean. Pull out couch was comfortable, bed and linens were really nice. Had stove/oven, apartment size fridge, dishwasher, pots/pans/dishes. Amenities were nice.
Disliked: Arrived at 240 was told I was unable to check in until 3 which was fine, checkin wasn’t until 3 anyways. At 3 I was unable to check in due to supervisor checking rooms. Wasn’t able to check in until almost 320. After going thru a hurricane, a wait was the last thing I wanted. A couple walked in behind me, was told checkin was not until 3 and they wouldn’t be able to check in. Complained and was checked in 14 min ahead but then refused to check me in prior to 3. Older man walked in prior to 3, without an reservation and was able to check in immediately. Hallways needed to be vacuumed; had trash, leaves and debris the entire weekend.

Liked: Went to this hotel for an evacuation from hurricane Milton. Knew nothing about the property. I was pleasantly surprised. Very comfortable. Loved the room and the staff was very accommodating. Will book again for my next hurricane evacuation.
Disliked: The remote for the TV was partially broken. That's it.

Liked: The location was good for what I needed.
Disliked: While the room looked clean, everything was wornout & dingy. The air conditioner had a constant musty smell. I believe the cleaning crew was doing the best they could with the circumstances so props to them. The shower head also did not work properly & the sink had very little water flow.
