Very good

Liked: Location close to meeting locations (Erasmus MC, musseum). Easy to reach from Rotterdam Centraal (walking 20 min, Tram 13 min). Nice harbor view in Restaurants and rooms (if booked with harbor view).

Not worth the 5 stars...

Disliked: The SPA wasn’t good as expected. Swimming pool’s water was cold, the sauna’s heat was not really high and the hammam smelt bad. Very disappointed because it was a Christmas that I had offered. In addition we hadn’t get any bathrobe in our bedroom.

Liked: The view is nice.
Disliked: It was not a five star hotel experience. For the price, it is crazy that the breakfast is not included. You even have to pay to drink the bottle of water they leave in the room. There were also stains in the walls. These are all issues that I would ignore in a three or two star hotel, but that I was not expecting when I reserved my room.

Liked: It is a beautiful hotel and the staff is super friendly. They also took care of our luggage right in the beginning. The rooms were super tidy and the bend and room big and cosy. The room was very quiet and you didn't hear anything from outside. Also the towels were changed quickly and the temperature was good to adjust.
Disliked: We were unlucky that our room was on a floor without a keycard, since there were renovations during that time. So we had to be escorted everytime into our room (asking at the reception area). So it was also hard to go to the spa area. The gym area was very small and the floor carpets on the corridors had lots of stains.Also waiting for hours until check in was unlucky since it was raining like crazy outside.All in all the stay was fine but I had other expectations for 5***.

Disliked: Unfortunately, we are not happy with the hotel. First of all, the room was not the room we saw on the pictures. We had a sauna in our room and got the stuff for it, but no instructions on using it. Additionally, the water in our shower does not drain away, we told the receptionists about the problem, but nobody was there to keep an eye on.The bar in the hotel is small, has not a good selection of drinks and is very expensive. The day we checked out, the Receptionists asked us two times if we would take something from the Minibar and looked at us like we stole something. And we paid 150 euros as a deposit. It was just like we weren't their guests, rather some people they need to have in their hotelAt all, the hotel is good for staying a night but definitely not a five star hotel
