Very clean and the people were very nice. The beds were comfortable and the noise level was low.

I would like to start by saying the manager, Bill Singh, is without a doubt one of the most polite, nicest , professional hotel managers in the business. He will do whatever it takes to make sure everything is right for you while you are staying there. The rooms are very clean and the helpers are very professional. I have stayed here quite a few times before a show or an event. It is priced right and very well worth the stay. I highly recommend Mahoning Inn.

A perfectly comfortable place to...

Liked: Wonderful breakfast, with several options to choose from, hot and cold. And the hotel was in perfectly close proximity to the concert I attended at Penn's Peak. Really liked the homey, lodge-like feel to the hotel.
Disliked: Everything about Mahoning Inn met my needs and expectations. Nothing to complain about

Liked: the room needed updating, but was clean and comfortable.....good restaurants near by as Sapore Restaurant...also visited a winery called Radical Wine Company. We only stayed one night to go to a concert in Jim Thorpe, Mauch Chunk opera house about a 20 minute drive. Breakfast was descent and had waffles, cereals, yogurt, juices and delicious coffee. We'd stay again for another short similar get away! kinda dumpy but beds were comfortable and the heater was good and warm!
Disliked: always like a couch to sit and watch tv...but we were not there to even turn the TV on!
