Liked: Breakfast was adequate. Location was great.
Disliked: Another towel rack for hand towels would be helpful.

Excellent location for a stay...

Liked: The Magnolia is two blocks from California Street and close to a number of good restaurants. You can easily walk from here to the trails in Jacksonville Woods. The room was very modern and comfortable. The check in service was excellent. Breakfast was really the healthiest continental-style we've had in the U.S.: Greek yoghurt, fruit, granola, hard-boiled eggs, good sourdough bread for toast. Coffee and tea selections were excellent.
Disliked: The water takes a long time to heat up, which is a little bit wasteful.

I wished I could stay...

Liked: The staff member who helpd me check in (Juliye, I think was her name) was very friendly, courteous and professional.She is definitely a great ambassador for the company.

EXCEEDED expectations in all areas.

Liked: The breakfast was excellent. The room was charming, with a distinct, positive "vibe". The bed and bedding were fabulous! The staff (our host) was welcoming and personable.
Disliked: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!! Truly a far above average stay in all resects-plus the location was perfect!

Great stay in Jacksonville

Liked: Great stay in quaint Jacksonville: comfortable, inviting and well styled. Simple yet high quality self-serve breakfast.
Disliked: Sounds from surrounding rooms was clearly audible in our room – other guests returning late at night and even conversations taking place behind closed doors in other guestrooms could be heard loud and clear. Too bad, also because there are lots of nice public spaces that the property discourages guests from using during “quite hours”, most likely due to this issue.
