Expected much more

Liked: Hotel is in a good location and has some historic appeal
Disliked: Hotel room is old (like you might expect) and cramped but also very weirdly built in a totally non practical way.Also very close to zero natural light in the room

It was ok but wouldn't...

Liked: The hotel was located very close to the Gateway Arch National Park. Also, the hotel restaurant was very good and the people were friendly.
Disliked: My room was located on a back alley and there was no view, unless you count seeing into the industrial and debatably abandoned properties next door. There was a lot of mechanical noise from those properties. Really disappointing for my first time stay in St. Louis and being downtown. There was also hair in my bathroom.

Not terrible but could have...

Liked: Both were good
Disliked: Shower drain was slow.Walls need to be painted.The door was hard to open.The windows allowed to much cold air in.Breakfast could have been free.Windows were very dirty. Only one remote for both tvs.
