Disgusting! Black in bed and shower. When I told the front desk they apologized but nothing else was done. A discount for the room would've been nice!

We had tickets to the Orpheum presentation of The War Horse. Enjoyed being so close to The Old Market. We shall return!

Liked: Loved the atmosphere, both inside and outside The Magnolia. Love, love seeing people coming and going and had "ownership" of their stay. Breakfast was fantastic! Staff was great!
Disliked: The beds were listed as queen sized but was only double bed. We have queen sized at home so knew this wasn't correct. It's hard to please everyone but the mattress was so soft we kind of "gravitated" to the middle.

A lovely place to return...

Liked: Good location downtown. The room was quite nice though a couple of things could be checked, the chain lock on the door was not installed properly, easily fixed and there had been a water problem somewhere as there were blowers in one of the staircases. Overall though a lovely old building with interesting history and the staff are very kind.
