We got engaged! It was the most perfect hotel to get engaged in - we know it will be there for 100 years and we can come back for our anniversary every year. The room was quiet, much larger than we expected - although it was older it had been updated nicely and we had a great time. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was a nice touch. However, we weren't there for the milk and cookies it sounded very nice!
Liked: The room was beautiful and much more than we expected.
Disliked: Could have used a few special extras in the room i.e. popcorn or silverware.

Below average at best
Liked: Loved the location!
Disliked: Booked a double queen room, received a king room with a trundle. This was never communicated and when talking to the front desk agent she just said it’s over sold can’t do anything about it but can switch you rooms the next day. Was never told our new and correct room was ready so stayed an entire 3 day trip in a king room with a trundle which was not what I booked or initially paid for. Very poor communication on the front desk team. I even checked in online 24 hours ahead and arrived on check-in day at 10am was told room was not ready which was fine then when I returned from the event of that day in the evening to pick up room keys was given an incorrect room. The whole check in process was very messy. Bags were improperly tagged to be held until room was ready.

Liked: I liked everything. Obviously my bedroom didn't have views or anything but I truly did not care (Denver views meh) but it was literally next to the vending machines so that was fantastic. The location is so good to go anywhere, uber or walking. The people in the hotel was SO SO SO awesome and nice. Food was so good... 100% will recommend.

Major Issues with Room Lighting...
Liked: The hotel is well-decorated, super clean, and has a nice atmosphere. They provide free coffee in the morning, free cookies at the evening, and free water bottles. The hotel restaurant is very, very good. And they serve a delicious breakfast (but see below for a very problematic issue regarding booking a room w/ breakfast included).
Disliked: During our recent stay, we encountered two significant problems:Room Lighting Issue* The first-floor rooms face extremely bright exterior lights at the main entrance* These lights made our room unbearably bright despite using the blinds* When we complained, staff offered to change our room, but only for the following day* Result: We essentially lost a full night of sleepBreakfast Voucher Limitations* While the breakfast itself was delicious, the "breakfast included" booking had a major caveat* The hotel provides only ONE $50 voucher per room, regardless of occupancy* With breakfast costing at least $20-25 per person, this voucher is: - Adequate for 1-2 guests - Insufficient for our family of 4 (which would cost $80-100)* This voucher limitation was not disclosed during bookingWhen I raised this issue with management, they claimed:1. The $50 voucher should be sufficient (it wasn't)2. If it wasn't enough, it was because we had "too many people" in the room3. They made an inappropriate comparison to having 10 people in a room and how THAT wouldn't be enough. After filing a formal complaint through Booking.com, the hotel offered an additional $25 daily discount for their restaurant.Important note: We booked a room with two queen beds, clearly intended to accommodate our family of four (2 adults, 2 children).

Conveniently located
Liked: The hotel was decorated so beautifully. Our hotel room was actually very nice. We liked that everything was nearby.
Disliked: Your parking fees are crazy expensive. There’s a parking lot around the corner from you that charges $12. I think it’s a rip off to charge your customers that rate and then charge for parking. Your beds are also not very comfortable and your pillows are also not comfortable. Couches and floors head stains on them.

For a quick stay where...
Liked: Good location, affordable
Disliked: Bare bones room, no small fridge. Not the type of room where you feel cozy and want to spend any time.
