Liked: Easy to get into room, fun decor, close to Sugarbush
Disliked: No microwave in room, it was too hot and changing the thermostat didn't seem to work.

Liked: Great property located close to the slopes. Good value. good communal spaces.
Disliked: Was quiet in summer so seemed a bit isolated. Might be a bit noisy, recommend bringing ear plugs.

Liked: There were lots of hooks to hang things up. Free coffee in the common area.
Disliked: Size of the room, very small. Bathroom door was nearly impossible to get closed. Latch on bathroom door was broken.

Superb

Liked: What a beautiful area. We stayed during the'leaf peepers' season. Few guests. We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was 2 bedrooms, a large bath, a full kitchen with dining area and large tv. and and huge sofa. Great place for hunters or skiers. Family friendly.
Disliked: No complaints for facility. It's a drive into town for dining or food. But the drive was beautiful!

The Mad River Lodge is...

Liked: Driving up to the property was beautiful , the landscaping was very nice. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. The interior shared space on the second floor offered snacks & drinks plus a nice seating area to relax in. Our room was nice and comfortable. We felt safe too. There was an entry door plus a separate door to our room. We loved Adirondack chairs that overlooked the road, we sat there at dusk just taking in the beautiful scenery and cool crisp air. I stayed in contact with the Innkeeper via text and he was very quick to respond. We will definitely come back again. This was the first time we have visited Vermont (from Texas) and it was amazing. We only stayed one night because we were trying to see as much of Vermont in a few days as possible but next time we will stay longer.
Disliked: I have no complaints.
