Liked: The location is why I first picked Mad Monkey Waterfront. It is right on the Esplanade, so you can easily walk to everything like bars, restaurants, activities, the lagoon and more. The prices are great and the staff are super friendly and helpful.They have weekly events that are a fun way to meet people. The rooms are super clean, have ensuites and the beds are really comfortable. The kitchen is nice with air conditioning and a big tv and a hang out area. Highly recommend.

Liked: Had a great stay at this hostel! The vibe is super chill, the staff is friendly, and the facilities are well-maintained. Perfect spot to meet people and relax. Would definitely stay again!

Convenience location

Liked: The location is fantastic—surrounded by plenty of restaurants and just a short walk to the Marina and excursion spots. The washroom next to the private rooms was clean, and we often saw the staff actively cleaning the floors and washrooms, which was great to see. Accessing the building was easy and convenient, as they provide either a code or an app to unlock the doors. Each room has its own air conditioning, which was a big plus! The kitchen was well-equipped and organized.One thing to note is that reception is upstairs, so if you have heavy bags, you might need some help.
Disliked: The common area is located behind a restaurant and next to the garbage bins of the restaurant. Smoking is allowed there, and unfortunately, the smell can drift into nearby private rooms. Our room had a carpeted floor and a noticeable humidity smell, even though there was a moisture absorber and a plug-in odor eliminator.
