Convenient and extremely reasonable rate

Liked: The location is perfect for getting the ferry to Newfoundland. There is a breakfast place just up the street which also serves Chinese food for lunch and dinner, as well as the ubiquitous Tim Horton's a mere km or two away.

Thanks to the owner for...

Liked: Motel is central, right beside the TransCanada highway, comfortable, well maintained yard and good value. The NFLD ferry is not far away.
Disliked: The highway is right beside the motel but the truckers didn’t use their Jake brakes at night

I would stay at MacNeil's...

Liked: The hosts were very friendly and the room was simple but clean.
Disliked: The room met all of my expectations and was quiet for being located beside the main highway.
