Brilliant hotel with great service...

Liked: This is a fabulous place to stay. All of the staff were very helpful and lovely to talk to. As a team, the staff provide a fantastic service. The hotel is designed for guests' comfort. There are plenty of places to settle within the hotel to play games, read books or just enjoy a drink and the lovely views.

Exceptional

Liked: The room was very comfortable, we had a shower and bath in our bathroom and everything was immaculately clean. Food and wine choices in the restaurant were excellent as was the service. All staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Location was beautiful with a view of the golf course from the restaurant. We used the sauna which was situated outside with a great view of the course and we took a walk across the golf course to the fabulous beach, which was deserted. All in all a very relaxing place to stay, we will be back.

Loved it, looking forward to...

Liked: Food excellent, room excellent and very comfortable, bathroom fantastic. The whole ambiance of the place was exceptional, felt so welcome and comfortable. Loved all the seating areas.
Disliked: Sometimes the service was a bit slow (had to follow up for the odd dish or drink order a few times). Having a room services option would have also been a nice addition.

An island haven

Liked: The staff, the location and scenery. Also the hotel was very dog friendly.
Disliked: Nothing.

Poor value for money

Liked: Location good, breakfast good but too expensive. The visit as a whole did not give good value for money. The hotel thinks it is luxury, but other places we have stayed at have just as high standards, better facilities and lower prices!
Disliked: Dreaded fixed soap dispensers, none within reach of someone having a bath rather than a shower. No soap provided, despite asking.No biscuits with the coffee provided in the room.Carpets in public areas soiled, stained, and frankly unacceptable.Unable to book dinner before 8pm on last night, due to pressure on dining room or kitchen.Overall, poor value for money.
