Liked: Comfortable bed, big room. Lovely breakfast - including some sausages for a very appreciative dog. Staff very helpful. Great stay as always, we’ll be back!

Liked: We love Norwood Hall and have been many times. Staff are lovely and accommodating. Food is very good. Breakfasts are exceptional with so much choice.The hotel sits in amazing grounds and it feels like you are really out in the country but you are only 10 minutes by car from the city centre
Disliked: There is nothing really to dislike. Little things maybe are starting to look a little tired.Be aware though, the hotel is a very popular Wedding/Function venue, especially at weekends and can be noisy if your room is above the function suite

Lovely stay at stunning hotel

Liked: The house itself is beautiful and very grand. The bed was lovely and comfortable. We only had breakfast but there was plenty to chose from. Staff were very friendly and only to happy to help.
Disliked: There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and tea in the bar was £5.95 each. Which is a massive upsale on a tea bag and hot water.

Liked: Good breakfast with plenty of choice and some less run of the mill options. Staff friendly and very helpful. Room was enormous by modern standards and extremely comfortable. Food on the occasions we ate there on an evening was excellent. Decor and ambience really chilled back and relaxing
Disliked: System of payment in Bar area- wi-fi signal here not good enough for card reader, often had to go to reception to pay

Met most of our expectations

Liked: Ease of booking, good accommodation
Disliked: Room was cold when we arrived and no ,sans of leaving the heat on while going out for a meal etc. Thus room cold when one came back to the room.

Liked: Comfortable bed.
Disliked: When we opened the room door we felt the blast of cold air. It was 5c outside and there was no heating on in the room and the window was open. I spoke to reception and they said it would warm up quickly. We went out for dinner and it was still cold when we got back. We moved rooms, the new room was slightly warmer than the previous one, but certainly not cosy warm. They provided an extra heater for the new room. When we checked out we weren’t asked if we enjoyed our stay. We definitely will not return.
