Friendly staff but very basic.

Liked: Property is very dated. Great location and clean and parking nearby. It is situated in the town and our room did have double glazing to help with the noise from the town. Lots of shops and restaurants to choose from all within walking distance.
Disliked: Very dated and needs a refurb. Shower was ok but bathroom taps water didn’t flow great.

Location great breakfast poor

Liked: Location was excellent
Disliked: Bedsheets was not put on bed correctly had to ask cleaner to rectify. Breakfast not a good selection on cereals. No marmalade available for toast, no black pudding as item shown on full Breakfast. No breakfast bap available for a bacon or sausage bap was offered bread instead. Window in room broken and dirty. For a 4 star hotel disappointed.

Liked: The location ideally suited our needs.
Disliked: The attitude of one member of staff at breakfast, the inconsistency of availability of certain foodstuffs and the fact that we were wrongly accused - IN FRONT OF OTHER GUESTS - of eating breakfasts that we hadn't paid for. One receptionist apologised and mentioned some form of refund but, of course, it never happened. Also the staff member making the accusation accused me of raising my voice to her. Other guests confirmed that I didn't but she actually spoke to me in a curt and highly disrespectful manner.
