Liked: Lovely setting in the countryside away from the buzy road, lovely grand house/hotel
Disliked: Having to pay by card for everything, more and more places are operating like this some people still prefer cash

Liked: Fantastic customer service and the food was excellent.

Disliked: Drink prices a bit high

Nice weekend away

Liked: Lovely place, needs some updating. Staff were incredibly attentive
Disliked: Could do with some refreshing - paint, furniture etc. bar in the hotel was a lot more expensive than the pub which made no sense and was just inconvenient

Liked: Reception, main communal rooms were very pleasant. As were the grounds and exterior of the premises.
Disliked: Other that the reception and main communal rooms, the remainder of the internal areas of the hotel are in much need of a overhaul. These area a very dated and tired.

Liked: Breakfast was good with good choice.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: The property was lovely. Check in was smooth. Room was decent and clean. Could do with a little updating but nice enough for the price. Great evening meal and lovely breakfast.
Disliked: Room was too hot during the night and I couldn't find a way of turning it down. On check out I wasn't asked how my stay had been.

Liked: Room and bed was very comfortable and room was clean
Disliked: Food quantity and quality for price was poor for breakfast Service was more like a 2 star hotel didn't seem to careSpa area was tiny and very over crowded, kids aloud in late splashing around going into sauna spitting in coals. No one seemed to come check into the poolside at all while we were there.
