Just 6 miles from the foot of Ben Lomond this friendly 4-star hotel has a quiet location on the shores of Loch Ard. It has a spa a select menu of wines and whiskeys and an on-site activity center. The Garden Restaurant at Macdonald Forest Hills Hotel & Spa has views of the hills forest and loch. Dishes are made using fresh seasonal local ingredients. Perfect place to get away...

Liked: Location is amazing, pure peace and quiet. Staff great, old fashioned look with modern facilities. Second time here and would happily stay again a third time.
Disliked: Nothing not too like really.

Cold start and things were...

Liked: Breakfast was tepid don’t like too hot but that’s just me
Disliked: Room was very cold on arrival as was the hotel lounge no fire on and unwelcoming Breakfast was tepid and very badly priced as it was £7 supplement for many of the choices this is not the way to get repeat business
