Great location in lovely Marlow

Liked: Great location, lovely helpful staff. Bar area was great.
Disliked: Rooms were very hot, but could open windows so it wasn't any issue. The signage doesn't help navigating quite a confusing layout easy.

Excellent Location, lovely tranquility but...

Liked: There clearly had been an external water leak that had left internal damage in one corner of the bedroom wall and window. We raised this with the hotel reception and also emailed; but never received any acknowledgement at all. We didn’t let this affect our stay; but it’s not really befitting of a four star hotel. More importantly, our intentions were to help the hotel to resolve the issue before the next guests arrived.
Disliked: Lack of acknowledgement of the staff to an issue, when we were trying to help them.

Exceptional as always

Liked: I love The Compleat Angler and always stay here when I'm Marlow. It really feels like home. The staff are exceptional (thank you Jess and Phoebe). I couldn't ask for more. They are so kind and friendly. My room was awesome and the river views are priceless. This is a great hotel. Good food, wonderful location, great rooms, perfect staff.

Disliked: The rooms and hotel are in need of much needed refurbishment.
