Liked: The breakfast buffet - was chaotic due to how it was set up …… no real ‘flow’ to it. Had to keep asking staff to top items up - they were not very proactive in this respect

Great for a bed

Liked: Certain staff members really just couldn’t be bothered. Food wasn’t great, we were lucky with great weather that the downstairs bar was opened and we were able to sit outside it was lovely and the kids had a ball staffs attitudes and the food let us down. Swimming pool was absolutely freezing a mean feeezing kids lips went a shade of purple so we had to leave

Scottish Borders Trip

Liked: Excellent room. No lift working. Had to find help with luggage. Our deal included breakfast. Breakfast ok but not worth £24. Enjoyed the bar facilities.

Not up to standard

Liked: Breakfast was very good. Restaurant staff slow at dinner.
Disliked: Lift was out of order. Room not easy to find. No heating-had to get Receptionist to sort out Towel rail not working.

Excellent stay, highly recommend

Liked: Have stayed at this hotel many times and will continue to do so. Room clean and bed and pillows extremely comfortable. Nice touch with Elemis shower gel etc provided.Didn’t eat dinner on this occasion but breakfast was very nice.
