Handy for a visit to...

Liked: Twin room was very good size and very comfortable beds. EV charging was good. Very quiet where our room was .
Disliked: No atmosphere. The reception lighting was awful. The bar is bare. Have to ask for extras at breakfast. No one tells you but overheard someone else asking so we did and was great.

Nice hotel - good value...

Liked: It was perfect for a short stay over - room was comfortable, dinner and breakfast were good. Dinner service on the Saturday night was very good considering how busy it was.
Disliked: The bar area was looking a little tired and was actually being used as an overflow dining area so there really wasn't anywhere to sit after dinner for a quiet hour or so for some drinks.

Liked: Have stayed here for many years & suits us for the location to Botley village but the hotel has lost it’s mojo, atmosphere is non existent
Disliked: What has happened to the staff, previously they have always been brilliant & nothing too much trouble. I thought I was checking into a hostel ☹️. Couldn’t even be bothered to call me a taxi ??? Just gave me a number !! the hotel has lost it’s mojo, atmosphere is non existent

Liked: The room was very nice. Bathroom lovely. Plenty of hot water, lovely products available. It was fab that the swimming pool was included and breakfast too.
Disliked: There was almost nothing on the restaurant menu for Coeliac guests.The Swimming Pool was uncomfortably cool and the pool area really needs smartening up. It looks dated and in need of some tlc.

Disliked: The mouldy bathroom , the leaking air conditioning. The table that was bubbled. The English tea bags. No plugs near the bedside table to charge phones.One table lamp didn't work
