Great resort for families

Liked: Great breakfast, comfy bed, super swimming pool and softplay as well as outdoor playground. The staff so nice too. Perfect resort for families.
Disliked: Nothing!

Disappointing

Liked: I picked the hotel for the swimming pool and soft play.Good opening times so can use it late afternoon once sun is gone, during winter.
Disliked: We were moved the day before check-in from Aviemore to highland hotel.extremely overpriced restaurant. (We paid 84£ for 2x burger, 2 beers 1 desert and 1 kid Mac&cheese....!) Also disappointed by the bed. Which was uncomfortable, hardest pillows ever and to top it off the duvet was too small for the double bed we had.Just very disappointing considering this is a 4 starts hotel and we paid 140£ per night..

Disliked: Beds really old and uncomfortable.Breakfast was a disappointment, many of the breakfast items were not at all restocked and left empty early on. When asking the staff to restock the breakfast items, they seems clueless and didn't restock

Enjoyable weekend

Liked: Good location in centre of Aviemore with access to great facilities
Disliked: The corridor had very strong smell of dampness which was a bit off putting. Decor was a bit tired.Breakfast on Sunday morning was excellent with a huge choice. Monday morning options were very much more limited

Pleasant enough

Liked: Pool, restaurants onsite
Disliked: Dated family room (bunk), struggled at breakfast to cope with volume of customers (aviemore hotel)
